KEREM GÖRSEV DIVERSION PROJECT
Her defasýnda yeni projelerini merakla beklediðimiz, uluslararasý caz platformundaki gururumuz Kerem Görsev, yeni albümü "Diversion" ile keyifli bir festival gecesi geçirmek için mükemmel bir fikir. Farklý tarzýyla gönülleri fetheden Kerem Görsev, yeni albümünde de çaðdaþ akustik caz týnýlarý yakalamýþ. Görsev, piyanosundan çýkan seslerin heyecanýný sahneden içimize iþleyecek, biz de cazýn büyülü kokusunu içimize çekeceðiz.
BÝYOGRAFÝ
1961'de Ýstanbul'da doðdu. Müzik eðitimine 1967 yýlýnda Ýstanbul Belediye Konservatuarý'nda baþladý ve Ýstanbul Devlet Konservatuarý'nda devam etti. Caz tutkusu konservatuar yýllarýnda baþlayan Kerem Görsev çeþitli kulüplerde ve konserlerde bir çok Türk ve yabancý müzisyenle çaldý. Görsev, 1994 yýlýnda ilk albümü olan "Hands and Lips" in kayýtlarýný bitirdi. 1996 yýlýnda ikinci albümü "I Love May", 1997 yýlýnda üçüncü albümü "For Murat" ve daha sonra dördüncü albümü "Relaxing" i 1998 yýlýnda tamamladý, konserler ve festivallerle geniþ kitlelere ulaþtý. Kerem Görsev ve Allan Harris ortak çalýþmasý "Laid-Back" 1950 ve 1960'larýn Broadway film müzikleri ve Amerikan caz standartlarýndan oluþan beþinci albümü olarak 1999'da bitirdi. 1999 yýlýnda St. Petersburg Philarmonic Orchestra ile kendi bestelerinden oluþan "November in St. Petersburg" albümünün kayýtlarýný yaptý. Sanatçý, 2007 Nisan ayýnda New York' ta Allan Harris ile birlikte "Back Again" isimli albüm kayýtlarýný tamamladý. "Diversion" adlý son projesinin kayýtlarýný Aralýk ayýnda tamamlayan Kerem Görsev'e bu albümde kontrbasta Kaðan Yýldýz ve davulda Ferit Odman eþlik etti.
KEREM GORSEV DIVERSION PROJECT
It is a perfect idea to spend one festival night with the jazz pianist Kerem Görsev whom Turkey is proud of. Görsev is going to perform his new album "Diversion" which we were waiting imptienly. He plays modern acoustic jazz melodies in his new album. Kerem Gorsev is going to give us the excitement above the stage while we are smelling jazz's magical perfume.
BIOGRAPHY
Pianist, Kerem Gorsev was born in Istanbul in 1961. His musical education started at the Istanbul Municipal Conservatory in 1967, and continued at the Istanbul State Conservatory. His love for jazz began during his years at the conservatory and he has performed at the various clubs in Istanbul both with Turkish and foreign musicians. Recognized as a talented composer and pianist, Kerem Gorsev has produced many different projects starting with his first album, "Hands and Lips" in 1995, followed by his second album, "I Love May", both comprising his own compositions. Kerem Gorsev released his third album, "For Murat" in 1996 and his fourth album," Relaxing" in 1997. His next album was a piano-vocal duet album called "Laid-Back" with Allan Harris. "November in St.Petersburg" was a special project that was recorded with St.Petersburg Academic Philharmonic Orchestra in 1999. The album consists of Kerem Gorsev's compositions. This project was followed by two new albums, "Warm Autumn" in 2001 and "Existence" in 2002. Existence is a cross over between jazz and classical music. Kerem Gorsev has finished recording "Meeting Point"in New York. He finished the recordings of his latest project "Diversion" in 2008. This album is a trio album and features eight new compositions.
