ANTONIO FLINTA BÝYOGRAFÝ
Þili'de doðan Antonio Flinta, Madrid'de Taller de Musicos müzik okulunda ünlü müzisyenlerden eðitim aldý. Daha sonra Berklee College of Music'i burslu olarak kazandý , ve orada emprovizasyon, kompozisyon, aranjman ve caz piyano dersleri aldý. 1993'te Roma'da "Artena 3000 Jazz Festivali"'nin programcýsý ve basçý Roberto Bucci ve "Percussion Institute of Technology" onur öðrencisi davulcu Claudio Gioannini ile kendi triosunu kurdu. Trio, daha sonra geniþ kitlelerce tanýnmalarýný saðlayan 4 albüm kaydetti ve ulusal ve uluslararasý turnelerde yer aldý. 2006'da "Ninietta" adlý parçalarýyla USA Bestecilik Yarýþmasý'nda birincilik kazandý. Yeni albümleri "Tanned" de aralarýna multi-enstrumantalist, eski dost Piercarlo Salvia katýldý ve grubun adý Antonio Flinta Quartet oldu.

Italian pianist and composer Antonio Flinta will be with us with his swinging and soulfull sound. The quartet performs American jazz but the musicians add their own distinctive energy to their music. Presenting their highly technical proficiency,balancing their knowledge of jazz history with contemporary creativity would ensure us to enjoy fully another wonderful festival night.
BIOGRAPHY
Antonio Flinta, pianist and composer born in Chile, studied in Madrid at the Taller de Musicos. Earns a scholarship to attend the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studies composition and arrangement, improvisation jazz piano with famous musicians. In Rome in 1993 forms his own trio with Roberto Bucci, self trained bass player and programmer of the "Artena 3000 Jazz Festival" and Claudio Gioannini, drummer graduated with honors at the Percussion Institute of Technology (Hollywood, USA). The trio has since then gained wide recognition recording four cd's and touring national and international jazz festivals. The song "Ninietta" included in the album "La Edad De La Ira" was awarded finalist in the 2006 USA Songwriting Competition.
